The Team

Kevin Braun

Lead Designer, Writer, Kobold

You can’t have brains without brawn and Kevin is lucky enough to have both. He is the lead writer and game designer at Salt Games and is always ready to charge head first into new projects and ideas (and correct Stewart’s punctuation). Kevin is inspired by Tolkien’s fantasy and world building, Lovecraft’s horror (and almost all other horror), King’s story crafting and as much other media as he can comfortably consume. Kevin was born and raised in Victoria BC. While his career has led him to work within emergency services his passion for storytelling and role playing games has been a driving force for his work with Salt Games. Outside of tirelessly proofreading copy, Kevin enjoys taking his dogs for long walks on the beach, playing video games and watching Formula 1.

Stewart Martin

Art Director, Writer, Tabaxi

The other half of Salt Games, Stewart handles all of the .abv files for the studio. He works directly with the artists to achieve the visual goals of the project. In his pre-pandemic life, Stewart was a culinary wizard but decided to take a high level dip into graphic design. Currently he is attending the online graphic design program at Toronto Film School. Stewart was born and raised on Vancouver Island. His inspiration comes from the works of Josef Müller-Brockmann, Lovecraft, sci-fi, fantasy and obscure 80’s mecha anime. Besides playing with kerning and leading, Stewart enjoys playing video games, going camping, and mountain biking.
